This French horn is from the Musical Instruments Framelits Dies (#144677) and can also be purchased in a bundle (#c146049, #w146048) with the Musical Season stamp set (#c144811, #w144814). This set would be suitable for Christmas or any occasion, especially for those who are musical.
The leaves are from the Musical Season stamp set and these were coloured with the new Stampin' Blends which will be available to purchase from the 1st November. These alcohol markers come in a range of Stampin' Up! colours, each with a dark and light shade. These markers make it so easy to blend colours and create beautiful works of art. These leaves and berries were very easy to colour, with very little blending. I used Old Olive for the leaves and Cherry Cobbler for the berries. There is a die to cut these leaves in the Musical Instruments Framelits. I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Whisper White card (#106549). The Designer Series Paper is Merry Music Specialty DSP (#144623) and the Washi Tape is from the Year Of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape (#144644). For the French horn and one of the circles I used Copper Foil Sheet (#142020). The base card and small circle is Old Olive card (#106576) and Whisper White were used for the other 2 circles. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits (#145372) and the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705) to cut the circles. For You, from the Birthday Blooms stamp set (#c140658, #w140655) was stamped with the Memento ink. The sentiment and French horn were attached to the card with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (#144108).
The Stampin' Blends come in 12 of the Stampin' Up! colours as well as a Bronze, Ivory and a colour lifter which is used to remove colour, so easy to "erase" a small mistake. The Tuxedo Black Memento ink is the best ink to use with the blender pens to avoid the ink bleeding, and Whisper White Thick card (#140490) is also recommended.
