Vintage Leaves

Hello and welcome,

I used the Rock and Roll method to stamp these leaves from the Vintage Leaves (#p138802), to give the different colours on the leaves.

For the rock and roll method, ink the stamp with the lighter coloured ink, then roll the edges of the stamp on the darker coloured ink. If you use the darker colour first you will get that colour transferred onto the lighter ink pad so best to use the lighter colour first. For these leaves I used Crushed Curry (#131173) with Cajun Craze (#126965), Mint Macaron (#138326) with Soft Suede (#126978) and Cherry Cobbler with Early Espresso (#126974). These leaves have been cut with the Leaflets Framelits (#138283). After shaping the leaves with a bone folder (#102300), I attached them to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).
For You is stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink and is from the Birthday Blooms stamp set (#c140658, #w140655). The cardstock used is Soft Suede (#119982) and Very Vanilla (#106550 with the background from the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack (#141642). I added some Copper Metallic Thread (#141696) and a Metal Rimmed Pearl (#138394) to the stems of the leaves.

That's all for today.
Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.
