Gift box

Hello

This very versatile box is very easy to make using a piece of A4 card.

On a piece of Naturals Ivory card, score on the long side at 2", 5 1/2", 7 1/2" and 11". Then score 2" from the bottom. See image below. Then cut to the score lines from the bottom to the 2" score line, and the rectangle on the bottom right needs to be cut off. Another line can be scored at 1" and 6 1/2" but only to the score line at the bottom. This forms the gusset in the side of the bag.

The Christmas Star (#134813) was randomly stamped using Wisteria Wonder (#126959). Gorgeous Grunge was stamped with the Gold Metallic Encore ink (#132141).
Fold on the score lines to make the box. Use Sticky Strip (#104294) to tape the box. This is great for 3D projects as it is extra sticky.
2 holes were punched at the top for the Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon (#120999) to make the bow.
Another 2 stars were stamped using Versa mark (#102283) and Silver Embossing powder (#109131), then heat set. These were fussy cut, scored and shaped. A piece of Silver 1/8" ribbon was attached using hot melt glue. I also used this glue to put the 2 stars together. "For You" is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set(#126257). A Rhinestone Basic Jewel (#119246) was added to the centre of the star. This star can be taken off the gift bag and used as an individual decoration.

Thought for the day -
