Secret Garden stamp and Framelits

Hello and welcome,

I love these beautiful flowers from Secret Garden stamp set (#129144) and coordinating Secret Garden Framelits (#129372). This is another card we made at my card class this week.

Using the Secret Garden stamp set on Brushed Gold Cardstock (#124917), I heat embossed with Versamark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129). Then using a Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Marker (#130034), I coloured parts of the flowers. As I coloured each section I dabbed gently with a tissue to dry the ink. It will dry itself, but drying with a tissue also removes the ink from the gold embossing if you happen to colour over that. This method gives a lovely subtle colour. The middle of the larger flower was coloured using More Mustard (now retired). Real Red Marker (#100052) was used for the centres of the other flowers. The leaves were stamped using Calypso coral stamp pad (#126983).

The other card stock are Very Vanilla (#106550) and Calypso Coral (#124392). The base card was stamped with the flourish from Everything Eleanor (#124164) using Crumb Cake ink (#126975). En Francais background stamp (#127790) was used on the panel behind the flowers, also using Crumb Cake ink. Happy Birthday is from Express Yourself set (#130339) and the punches are Word Window (#119857) and Modern Label (#119849).

I made a second card using Baked Brown Sugar (#131301) for the base card for a slightly different look. Get well is also from the Express Yourself set and Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267) used.

That's all for today,
Till next time,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.
