Elements of Style

Hello

I used the Elements of Style stamp set for this card, stamping on vellum with versamark with white embossing powder and coloring with Stampin' Markers.
Don't these colours - Primrose Petals and Gumball Green - look great together.

Once the embossing powder is set, turn the vellum to the back and colour using Stampin' Markers. I used Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple for the flowers and Gumball Green for the leaves. A lighter coloured card behind the vellum highlights the colours much better than darker colours. I used Very Vanilla, then attached this to Gumball Green using the cute mini brads. Using Stampin' Dimensionals this was placed on top of the Very Vanilla card that was also stamped with the flowers from the Elements of Style stamp set using Crumb Cake ink for a subtle background.
A piece of Gumball Green card was punched with the Scallop Trim Border, Stitched Satin Ribbon taped to it and the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Banners and co-ordinating Framelits was attached with Dimensionals.

  1. Lesley what a gorgeous card. I love the Primrose Petals and Gumball Green together. I'm still in love with the vellum cardstock too and colouring on the back makes it look so lovely. Your border is pretty too. Another winner!
